Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag New Game - No Upgrades / No Harbourmaster / No General Store (Challenge)

Image
How I ended up after completing this mental challenge In this playthrough of the gorgeous Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag , I am doing a raw, insanely mental "classic mode" challenge gameplay without any upgrades for Edward or the Jackdaw. I am not buying any ammo either, and don't open any chests, except for when this is required for optional objectives (namely, in "Nothing Is True" and "Diving For Medicines"). For ammo, I loot bodies and also hunt animals so as to have bones available to craft darts. And I use only Edward's default inventory until the end. I do not buy anything either from the Harbourmasters or the General Stores, and strictly use the market the times that are obligatory by the plot itself, specifically: -to buy the first pair of swords in "Lively Havana", which the game requires as part of the story -to get the intermediate hull in "Prizes and Plunder" as the first obligatory upgrade -to buy the inte...

Miasmata - Extended Playthrough

Image
Extended playthrough of Miasmata, a wonderful game by indie developers IonFX. It includes visiting most of the areas, finding several plants and creating various tonics and medicines. Despite its peaceful pace, Miasmata offers a quite intense gaming experience, both with the atmosphere it creates combining gorgeous environments, beautiful music and a compelling story. We play as a mysterious protagonist who may or may not be whom he thinks he is, as he is stranded on a paradise-like island, and is looking for natural resources that are thought to produce a cure for a plague that has stricken humanity.

Resident Evil HD Remaster: Hard Difficulty Playthrough

Image
Playthrough of REHD with both Chris and Jill, in Hard difficulty setting. I save all characters and get the good ending in both scenarios. I am mainly using the Infinite Samurai Edge for everything, except the final boss fight. I always have an issue with games that offer limited inventory space, not because I cannot store enough items, but because I am very bad when it comes to item management. This is the main (if not the only) reason why I tend to resort to an infinite ammo handgun when there is one available. Doing so, leaves space for holding other items, as well as ammo for other weapons when you use them. The playthrough features both Chris and Jill scenarios and includes all cutscenes.
